Internship

A period of 6-8 weeks over the third and fourth term is earmarked for the internship module, spent by the Naropa Fellows in Delhi-NCR. Corresponding with the harshest phase of the Ladakhi winters, the module comes at a juncture where most Fellows have gained sufficient clarity on the kind of entrepreneurial venture they wish to build, and the Fellows gear up to intern with organisations active in the same industrial verticals as their budding Live-Action Projects (LAPs).

The process of matching a Fellow to their host organisation is meticulously executed, through several rounds of discussion, meant to gain clarity on their areas of interest and the evolution of their LAPs, so as to ensure optimal professional overlap. The internship module is an opportunity for the Fellows to gain an immersive exposure to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country. They work directly under the senior leadership of their respective host organisations, partake in Live Projects and shadow leading entrepreneurs to learn how an entrepreneurial entity is run, and add tangible value to their line of work.

The Fellows have worked with organisations involved in fields as diverse as education, organic farming, handicrafts, hospitality and tourism. Following are some of the organisations that partner with us for the internships:
